CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS RECOGNITION DINNER

took place on  Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Fox Hollow Inn.     TOBAC honored:

Tilles Center for the Performing Arts Inc.

Nassau County Museum of Art

Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts

Plaza Theatrical Productions, Inc

for the contributions that these organizations have played in enriching the cultural environment in our town. 

 

Entertainment included both vocal and dance performances by students from the Long Island High School for the Arts and by keyboardist Elliot Weiss.   Our guest speaker was Glenn Gamboa,  Newsday Arts Columnist.
